Terms of Use
These terms apply when you use HanziPeek. Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies.

The app
HanziPeek helps you learn Chinese words with Lock Screen widgets, reviews and graded reading. Free features are free to use with no time limit.
HanziPeek Pro
HanziPeek Pro is available as a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription with a free trial for eligible new subscribers, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are set by the App Store in your local currency and are shown in the app before you buy.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
Content
Word definitions and traditional forms come from CC-CEDICT (Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0). Example sentences come in part from Tatoeba (Creative Commons Attribution 2.0 France). Stroke order data comes from Make Me a Hanzi (Arphic Public License). Full credits are listed in Settings → Acknowledgements.
We check content carefully, but dictionaries and example sentences can contain mistakes. Please use Report a problem on any word so we can fix it.
Acceptable use
Don't reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app or its content database except as the licences above allow.
Liability
HanziPeek is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the app.
Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under the consumer protection laws of the country where you live.
